(LAMBTON SHORES, ON) – An individual is facing impaired driving charges following a traffic stop in the Municipality of Lambton Shores.
On March 22, 2026, just before 9:00 p.m., while conducting general patrol, a member of the Lambton County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on Lakeshore Road, near Jenna Road.
As a result of the investigation, David MILLS, 68-year-old of Kettle and Stoney Point, was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with the following offences:
- Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
- Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
A 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.
The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in the City of Sarnia on April 28, 2026.
