KERR Charged In Hit And Run

(LAMBTON, ON) – On Monday March 20th, 2017 at just before 4:00 a.m., the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was dispatched to a fail to remain motor vehicle collision in the area of Moral Street and Lorne Street, Brooke-Alvinston Township, ON.

Lambton OPP along with Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and the Brooke-Alvinston Fire Department responded to a location on Lorne Street, Alvinston, ON in relation to a fail to remain motor vehicle collision. Investigation determined that an unknown vehicle had been traveling south on Moral Street, proceeded through a posted stop sign and struck a residence in the 8000 block of Lorne Street causing significant damage to the residence, hydro stack and hydro meter. No injuries were sustained to anyone in the residence at the time of the collision. The driver and vehicle fled the area prior to police arrival.

As a result of the investigation, Lambton OPP has identified and charged 57 year old Cynthia Marylou KERR of Brooke-Alvinston Township with:

Careless Driving

Fail to Report Accident

Drive Motor Vehicle – No Licence
