(MILDMAY, ON) – On Wednesday, February 25, 2026, members of the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a possible impaired driver at a business on Highway 9 in the town of Mildmay, Municipality of South Bruce.
While officers were enroute, police received a second call about the same vehicle which was now located on Peter Street South. The driver subsequently fled on foot after colliding with a snowbank however they were taken into custody without incident.
As a result, Thomas FINDLAY, 56 years-of-age from Mildmay has been charged with the following Criminal Code offence.
- Operation while Impaired – alcohol and drugs.
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice located in Walkerton on April 8, 2026.
