On April 2 nd 2017 a 31 year old Owen Sound male was arrested and charged with; 2 counts of theft, possession of marihuana and 3 counts of breach of probation. The charges related to theft from unlocked vehicles. The male was later released from custody with conditions.
On April 3, 2017 at approximately 11:00 am police were alerted by a concerned citizen of a male going through vehicles and also acting strangely. The male was located and found to be in possession of items he stole from unlocked vehicles.
The male was subsequently arrested and charged with; theft, possession of property obtained by crime, possession of break in tools and 2 counts of breach of probation. The male is being held in custody pending a bail hearing.
