4 Year Old Airlifted To Hospital Update – Child Succumbs To Injuries

On April 10, at 6 p.m., Waterloo Regional Police responded to a residence in Woolwich Township for a report of an injured child. A four-year-old boy was playing outside with his brother when he fell and sustained a head injury. He was taken to Grand River Hospital and then airlifted to McMaster Hospital in Hamilton with serious injuries. On April 11, as a result of injuries sustained in the accident, the victim passed away at McMaster Hospital.
