(NORTH HURON, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers are investigating the theft of a John Deere riding lawn mower that was stolen from a St. Michael’s Road property this past week.
The mower was stolen from an unlocked drive shed. The mower had been chain locked inside the shed however the thief cut the lock and took off with the mower.
The stolen lawn mower is described as a green 2015 John Deere X300 riding lawn mower valued at $4,000. Also stolen was a battery that was taken from an antique tractor.
Investigators believe the theft took place sometime between 6:00 p.m. on May 14th and 10:30 a.m. on May 18th.
