(SOUTH HURON, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers including members from the Huron OPP Property Crimes Unit continue to investigate a recent break, enter and theft.
Sometime between 7:00 p.m. on June 16th and 5:00 a.m. on June 17th suspects attended a commercial enterprise located on Grand Bend Line and entered into the attached garage. Once inside the garage the thieves stole a laptop computer, numerous Dewalt & Stihl power tools, licence plates, chainsaws and GPS units.
In addition, the thieves stole a silver 2011 diesel Ford F-250 pickup truck valued at approximately $23,000.
The value of the stolen electronics and tools is estimated around $5,000.
