Road Closed For Single Vehicle Crash

(SAUGEEN FIRST NATION, ON) – On July 8, 2017 at 4:30 p.m., Bruce Peninsula Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a motor vehicle collision involving a hydro pole along Bruce County Road 13, near the intersection with French Bay Road, on Saugeen First Nation. Officers attended with members of the South Bruce Peninsula Fire Department and Bruce County Paramedics to find that a White Honda was involved.

The driver was taken to a local hospital for assessment of non-life threatening injuries.

The hydro pole was broken and hydro lines are hanging across Bruce County Road 13. Hydro One is on scene and estimates the repairs will take several hours to complete.

Bruce County Road 13 is closed between 2nd Avenue and Charles Street for the protection of emergency responders. Motorists are asked to respect the closure and avoid the incident area.
