(KINLOSS TWP, ON) – On July 20, 2017 at 10:28 p.m., a South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer on patrol along South Kinloss Avenue in Kinloss Township observed a Beige Ford F150 moving at a high rate of speed. The vehicle’s speed was more than 130 km/h in a posted 80 km/h zone. The truck was stopped and the driver was found to have been drinking alcohol. Twenty-five-year old Derreck CAMPBELL of Morris-Turnberry Township was charged with operate over 80 milligrams, possess a controlled substance, drive with open liquor and race a motor vehicle. He is scheduled to appear in court on August 16, 2017 to answer to the charges.
