(TOWNSHIP of WELLINGTON NORTH, ON) – On Saturday September 2, 2017 at approximately 1:00 a.m., a Wellington County OPP officer was monitoring traffic on Wellington Road 109 west of Arthur. The officer observed a female driving a 2010 Nissan Sedan travelling at a speed that appeared to be well above the posted speed limit. The vehicle was locked on radar at 137 km/h in an 80 km/h zone. Further investigation revealed the driver’s license had expired.
42-year-old Leann EMOFF of Aurora has been charged with Race a Motor Vehicle and Drive No License contrary to the Highway Traffic Act and will appear in Guelph Provincial Court on November 1, 2017.
