(TOWNSHIP OF SOUTHGATE, ON) – On September 17, 2017 at approximately 7:18 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attended an address on Grey Rd. 109 in the Township of Southgate in response to an injured child.
Investigation revealed that a three year old girl suffered head injuries after falling approximately eight feet through a barn floor. She was transported to a local hospital and then air-lifted to a Hamilton hospital where she is in critical condition.
