(ASHFIELD-COLBORNE-WAWANOSH, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers with the assistance of OPP Forensic Identification Services (FIS) and the Office of the Ontario Fire Marshal continue to investigate a fire that has been deemed suspicious.
On Sunday, September 17, 2017 shortly before 9:20 p.m. Lucknow Fire Department responded to the structure fire located on Dungannon Road near Cransford Line. Upon arrival fire crews observed a two-story farmhouse fully engulfed in flames. The responding fire crew was able to prevent the spread of the fire however the abandoned home was completely destroyed.
The estimated dollar value of damages to the building is estimated between $50,000 and $80,000.
