Hang Glider Crash In Minto Sends One To Hospital

(TOWN OF MINTO, ON) – On September 24, 2017 at approximately 4:40 p.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a male being injured in a hang glider accident on First Line, Town of Minto.

OPP along with Guelph-Wellington Paramedic Services responded and found a male injured. Investigation revealed that the male was taking off in a solo flight with his hang glider when the left wing clipped long grass resulting in a crash.

The male was transported by Guelph-Wellington Paramedic Services to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
