Two Charged In Parking Lot Rage Incident – Names Released

(MUNICIPALITY OF MEAFORD, ON) – On September 23, 2017 at approximately 12:46 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a disturbance in the Tim Horton’s parking lot located on Sykes Street South in the Municipality of Meaford.

A physical altercation occurred between two men after one of the males drove his vehicle through the parking lot in a dangerous manner while the other male was attempting to park his vehicle. No injuries were reported.

54-year old Greg BETTS of the Municipality of Meaford was charged with Assault and Mischief Under $5000.

21-year old Adrian NECKEL of Nottawasaga was charged with Dangerous Driving.

Both men are scheduled to appear in court in Owen Sound on October 12, 2017.
