(TOWNSHIP OF SOUTHGATE, ON) – As a result of an ongoing criminal investigation, on October 31, 2017 members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Grey-Bruce Street Crime Unit, executed a search warrant at a residence located on Grey Road 14 in the Township of Southgate.
As a result of the warrant to search three stolen ATVs, a motorcycle, various electronics, ammunition and two prohibited weapons were recovered.
Police arrested and charged three people from the Township of Southgate in connection to this investigation.
25-year old Codie William BLOOM is charged with:
Possession of Methamphetamine
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000
Importing a Firearm, Prohibited or Restricted Weapon, Prohibited Device or Ammunition Knowing it is Unauthorized
Possession of Firearm or Ammunition contrary to Probation Order (x3)
Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Weapon
Smuggling a Prohibited Weapon into Canada – Customs Act
41-year old Jared Roy GILKES is charged with:
Possession of Methamphetamine
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000
Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Weapon
Possession of Firearm or Ammunition contrary to Probation Order (x2)
35-year old Stefania Crystal GOULDEN is charged with:
Possession of Methamphetamine
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000
Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Weapon
They are scheduled to appear in court on December 7, 2017 in Owen Sound.
