Drunk Driver Arrested On Glendon Driver – Name Released

(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – On November 11, 2017, at approximately 2:00 a.m., a member of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Glendon Drive, Middlesex Centre.

Officers determined that the 31-year-old male driver of the vehicle had consumed alcohol. He was placed under arrest and transported to a Middlesex County OPP detachment for breath tests.

As a result of the police investigation, William Gary HAMILTON, of Strathroy Caradoc, has been charged with Driving with More than 80 mgs. of Alcohol in Blood pursuant to the Criminal Code of Canada (CCC).

The accused’s vehicle has been seized for 7 days and his driver’s licence suspended for 90 days.

The accused was released on a Promise to Appear (PTA) and is scheduled to answer the charges in a London court on December 5, 2017.
