(TOWNSHIP OF GEORGIAN BLUFFS, ON) – On November 25, 2017 at approximately 5:48 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a possible impaired driver.
A member of the Bruce Peninsula Ontario Provincial Police observed the suspect vehicle, a 2004 GMC Sierra pick-up truck, being driven erratically southbound on Highway 6 through the Village of Shallow Lake in the Township of Georgian Bluffs. The vehicle was stopped and the driver, who had been drinking alcohol, was also found to be disqualified from driving.
33-year old Emma DAVIES of the Township of Georgian Bluffs was arrested and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle, having a blood alcohol content of over 80 milligrams, and driving while disqualified.
She is scheduled to appear in court in Owen Sound on December 21, 2017.
