(CENTRAL HURON, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers continue to investigate a break, enter and theft that took place on King Street in Clinton during the last week of November.
Investigators have determined those responsible gained entry into the business through a basement window sometime between 5:30 p.m. on November 24, 2017 and 9:40 a.m. on November 25, 2017. Once inside the business the thieves stole three cases antiques and collectibles consisting of commemorative coins, vintage currency, pocket watches, jewellery and jackknives. The thieves dumped the cases nearby however the contents had been removed.
The collection of stolen antiques and collectibles is estimated at a value of $8,000 – $10,000.
