(TOWNSHIP OF GUELPH/ERAMOSA, ON) – On Monday December 25, 2017 at approximately 7:00 p.m. members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a vehicle collision on Highway 7 east of Rockwood. A driver struck another driver from behind.
While investigating the collision, officers became aware that driver who struck the other vehicle was operating his vehicle without insurance and unregistered.
46-year-old David J. HARKINS of Guelph was charged with Driving without Insurance contrary to the Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act as well as Careless Driving and Driving without Valid Registration contrary to the Highway Traffic act. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Provincial Court on February 7, 2018.
