(TOWNSHIP OF GUELPH-ERAMOSA, ON) – On January 17, 2018 at approximately 5:15 p.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was dispatched to a Break and Enter at an address on Cobbleston Place, Township of Guelph-Eramosa. An unknown person had entered the home while the residents were there. When confronted by a resident in the home the unknown party left.
OPP officers attended the area and located a motor vehicle with a male matching the description in the driver’s seat. A traffic stop was conducted. Investigation revealed that the motor vehicle had been reported stolen out of Waterloo Region.
As a result of the investigation OPP charged 30-year-old Whitney Adam KAY (male) of No Fixed Address with:
Unlawfully in Dwelling Home
Possession of Property obtained by Crime under $5000
Driving while under Suspension
Fail to Comply with Probation Order x 2
He was held for bail.
