(GODERICH, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers including members from the Community Street Crimes Unit (CSCU) are investigating a recent theft of tools stolen from a job site located in Goderich.
Sometime between 5:30 p.m. on January 19, 2018 and 9:00 a.m. on January 20, 2018 persons attended to the construction site located on Bennett Street East in Goderich. Those responsible for the theft forced entry into a storage trailer and proceeded to steal power tools worth about $10,000.
Some of the stolen tools include: two Dewalt tool kits that each contain a cordless skill saw, reciprocating saw, impact drill, hammer drill, flashlights and lithium batteries. Other stolen items include a Mastercraft table saw, two stiletto hammers, four Paslode framing nailers, a 12 inch Dewalt sliding compound mitre saw, a 6.5 HP King Canada air compressor, a Bostitch hanger nailer and several other Dewalt power tools.
