(CENTRAL HURON, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Bluewater resident with Impaired Operation – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 Plus) following a failed roadside test early this morning north of Clinton.
At approximately 12:48 a.m. a Huron County OPP officer was patrolling North of Clinton on London Road when they observed an automobile with an obscured licence plate. A traffic stop was initiated, and it led to the investigating officer conducting a roadside screening device test on the driver. The test resulted in a fail and the driver was placed under arrest and taken into custody.
The accused was then transported to the Huron OPP Detachment for further breath tests. Two samples of breath were supplied to the Intoxilizer Technician and both tests were found to be over the legal limit.
Cloe MCCLINCHEY, 22 years of age from Bluewater has been charged with Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 Plus). The accused has since been released from custody with a court appearance scheduled for December 05, 2022, at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich.
