(TOWN OF ERIN, ON) – On March 22, 2018 approximately 9:30 a.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police responded to an incident at Erin District High School at 14 Boland Drive, Town of Erin.
Students reported to staff that a 16-year-old male youth may have a weapon in his possession. A search of the youth located an imitation firearm.
A 16-year-old male from Erin has been charged with the following criminal offences:
Carrying concealed weapon
Assault with intent to resist arrest
Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose
Utter threats to cause death or bodily harm
The youth remains in custody.
