(TOWNSHIP OF GUELPH/ERAMOSA, ON) -On March 27, 2018 at approximately 6:30 a.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a motor vehicle collision that occurred on Wellington Road 7, north of Guelph, where a cyclist was struck and killed by a vehicle.
48-year-old Richard LANE of Fergus was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The investigation is still ongoing and OPP is asking that anyone who was driving on County 7 around the time of the collision, and saw the cyclist or has a dashboard camera to please call OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
