(TOWNSHIP OF CENTRE WELLINGTON, ON) – On Monday March 26, 2018 at approximately 8:30 p.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a disturbance call at the Tim Horton’s Restaurant on St. Andrew Street East, Fergus. It was reported that three youth were disturbing the peace during a verbal conflict.
OPP located the three young people and cautioned them. Further investigation revealed that one of the youths had sworn to an undertaking and was breaching it by being at the restaurant.
A 17-year-old male, who cannot be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, has been charged with two counts of Failing to Comply with an Undertaking.
