(TOWNSHIP OF CENTRE WELLINGTON, ON) – Today at approximately 4:00 p.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a serious collision on County 7 and Sideroad 4, Township of Centre Wellington.
OPP, Centre Wellington Fire and Rescue along with Guelph Wellington Paramedics Service attended the scene where a four door sedan and motorcycle had collided. The male driver of the motorcycle was transported by Guelph Wellington Paramedic Services with life threatening injuries and pronounced deceased at the hospital. The driver of the car was not injured.
County 7 is currently closed between first and second line and is expected to remain closed for several hours while the investigation takes place.
The identity of the deceased driver will be withheld until next of kin notification takes place.
