(TOWNSHIP OF CENTRE WELLINGTON, ON) – On March 27, 2018 members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a fraud at two businesses in the Town of Fergus. In both cases the unknown suspect provided false credit card numbers to the employee to pay for items. The credit card transaction was later declined.
OPP is asking the public for their assistance in identifying the suspect from the photo associated with the fraudulent transactions. (See attached photo) Eye witness reports estimate the suspect to be a white male, approximately 5’11
