(TOWNSHIP OF SOUTHGATE, ON) – On March 16, 2018, Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) warned a male living in the Township of Southgate to cease unwanted communication with his estranged common-law. Despite the warning, the male continued to contact the victim. She contacted police on April 30, 2018 after the male had attended her residence in the Township of Southgate.
As a result of the investigation, on May 1, 2018, Grey County OPP arrested and charged the 43-year old male with criminal harassment. He was held for a bail hearing the same day and is scheduled to return to court in Owen Sound on May 17, 2018.
