BRUCE PENINSULA OPP INVESTIGATE FOUND REMAINS

(SOUTH BRUCE PENINSULA, ON) – On November 6, 2013 at 12:25 pm, the Bruce Peninsula Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of found remains in a wooded area off the Northern Trail, South Bruce Peninsula.

Bruce Peninsula OPP, Bruce Peninsula OPP Crime unit, West Region OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT) and OPP Forensic Identification Unit (FIU) are continuing the investigation with the assistance of the Coroner’s office.

The remains have been determined to be a human skull. Foul play is not suspected.

The investigation is in its early stages.
