(SOUTH HURON, ON) – A traffic stop of a mini-motorcycle has led to four traffic charges against a 19 year old from South Huron. At approximately 8:15 a.m. on November 1, 2013 a Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer observed a male operating a Lifan mini-motorcycle. The driver was travelling on the sidewalk on Main Street in Exeter. The officer also observed the driver to be not wearing a helmet. A traffic stop was initiated on Alexander Street which resulted in the driver leaving with a court date to answer to his charges.
Emery FIGUERO, 19, from South Huron has been charged with Drive Motor Vehicle – No Licence, Fail to Wear Helmet on Motorcycle, Operate Motor Vehicle – No Insurance and Drive Motor Vehicle – No Permit. He has a scheduled court appearance set for Provincial Offences Court in Goderich on December 17, 2013.
