Woman Fails to Comply with Release Conditions

The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a woman for breaching her release conditions.

On March 18, 2013, the woman was released from custody with several conditions. One of those conditions stated she was not to attend any retail store unless accompanied by her surety or mother.

Yesterday, just before 9:00 a.m. police responded to a business on McNaughton Avenue in Wallaceburg as the store manager recognized the woman who had previously been trespassed. Officers located the woman in the electronics section without her surety or mother and she was arrested.

The 39-year-old Wallaceburg woman has been charged with failing to comply. She has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
