Barrie Police received information that a male police were looking for was currently at an address on Lyfytt Crescent. The 64 year old local man, who is known to police had been criminally harassing a female victim with unwanted attention for the past few months. He continued with his inappropriate comments and unreciprocated attention despite being cautioned by the police about his ongoing behavior.
The man attempted to avoid being arrested and tried to run from police but was unsuccessful and was immediately arrested. He was charged with Criminal Harassment and was held pending his Bail hearing on the 8th of November 2013 in answer to the charge. No one was injured in this incident.
