(Ottawa) As part of Crime Prevention Week, the Ottawa Police Parkwood Hills Community Police Center (CPC) and the Greenbank CPC will be providing free Fraud and Scam awareness information to the community.
When: Friday, November 8, 2013 from 9am to 12noon

Drop by to learn about the latest Scams and Frauds and learn how to better protect yourself from becoming a victim.
Members of the Rotary Club of Ottawa will also be available to discuss their community presentation -“The ABC’s of Fraudâ€Â. Datashred Security, the Mobile Document Destruction Company will also be on site to receive your documents and you can watch and learn how they are destroyed.
Ottawa Police will also be accepting donations for the Ottawa Food bank – (Caldwell Family Center site). Merivale Mall has donated 4 portable shredders to raffle off to the public. Be sure to drop by for your chance to win.
