On November 10th members of the Street Crime Drug Unit conducted an investigation into a male suspected of trafficking narcotics in the City of Barrie. The male was known to SCDU officers from a search warrant executed at his residence in September of this year.
The male had once again attracted the attention of the unit who’s investigation led to a vehicle stop in the area of Mapleton and Essa road. Officers arrested the 27 year old male and his 33 year old male passenger. Both males were found to be in possession of drugs. Officers seized, heroin, cocaine and marihuana with a street value of $9000.00 were seized.
The 27 year old male was held for bail to face five drug related charges (heroin, cocaine, marihuana) and one charge of driving while disqualified.
The 33 year old male faces a charge possession for the purpose of trafficking heroin.
