On November 13, 2013 at approximately 4:10 p.m., the Guelph Fire Department responded to a reported basement fire on Southcreek Trail. Units from Stations 3, 4, 5, 6 and HQ arrived at the scene and found the basement fire as reported.
The fire was quickly brought under control and subsequently extinguished. There were no injuries to the occupants or firefighting personnel. The cause of the fire along with an estimate of damage is still under investigation by the Guelph Fire Department Fire Prevention Division.
