(KINCARDINE, ON) – On November 19th, 2010 at 10:29 pm, the South Bruce OPP received a theft report from the Bruce Bar & Grill in Kincardine. Two intoxicated men stole a potted tree from the bar and left in a White truck. Police located and stopped the truck on Queen Street in Kincardine.
24 year old Corey HOMBERG of St Thomas is charged with Operate over 80 mgs and Theft under $5,000. 45 year old Reinhard HOMBERG of Dutton Dunwich is charged with Theft under $5,000. Both men are scheduled to appear in Provincial Court on December 20th, 2010 to answer to the charges.
The men were intoxicated when they arrived at the Bruce Bar & Grill. Bruce Bar staff refused to allow them inside the bar. As they were leaving, they stole the potted tree.
