(NORTH BRUCE PENINSULA, ON) – Members of the Bruce Peninsula Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) with assistance from the Bruce Peninsula OPP Auxiliary Unit will be collecting food for Northern Bruce Peninsula Families on Saturday December 7th. You will see them at the Tobermory Foodland and the Lions Head Foodland from 10:00a.m. until 2:00p.m.
Non-perishable food items will be accepted for stuff-the-cruiser during this time frame. The local food banks in Tobermory and Lions Head will be accepting the donated items and allocating them as needed.
The Bruce Peninsula OPP is working to assist those in need this upcoming festive season and working with local businesses such as Peacock’s Foodland in Tobermory and Hellyer’s Foodland in Lions Head help to achieve this end.
Notably, all food donations will stay local to the communities in which they were provided.
