Barrie Police officers attended a Templeton Crescent residence regarding a report of a break and enter. The 58 year old suspect smashed the front door of a residence to gain entry. The suspect entered the main level and was confronted by the owner of the home.
The suspect fled the residence however was captured by several home owners in the area a short distance away.
The suspect was transported to the Barrie Police Service and held for a bail hearing.
