(Goderich, ON) On November 21, 2010 at approximately 5:00 pm, four workers who were staying at an Inn together became involved in a verbal altercation which quickly escalated when one of the males threw a beer bottle at another of the males, striking him in the head. The victim and the two other males then forced the aggressor out of the room and locked the door due to his violence. The aggressor became more agitated however and kicked open the door to the room causing the frame to splinter. Once again the males forced the aggressor outside at which point he contacted police.
Following an investigation, the identity of the aggressor was confirmed and the caller was arrested. A 40 year old Toronto man is now facing one count of Assault with a Weapon and one count of Mischief Under $5,000. He remains in custody pending a bail hearing on November 22, 2010.
