Last night, the Chatham-Kent Police Service conducted RIDE spot checks in Blenheim and Chatham.
In total, officers checked 380 vehicles resulting in one roadside screening test being administered, four tickets and two summons being issued.
With the holiday season right around the corner, the Chatham-Kent police are reminding motorists that there will be an increase in RIDE programs and impaired driving enforcement in an effort to track down those drivers who place everyone’s safety at risk by drinking and driving. Please don’t drink and drive – it’s a crime !!
