Barrie Police responded to call in regards to a female at the hospital who had sustained non-life threatening stab wounds. The officers arrived on scene and spoke the victim who stated that her sister attended her residence in an intoxicated state. She started to blame the victim that she involved with an ex-boyfriend of the suspect. An argument broke out and the suspect pulled out a small knife and stabbed the victim three times in the chest area. The suspect then ran from the residence, direction unknown. Police have issued a warrant for the 32 yr old Barrie woman for assault with a weapon.
