Man Charged with Failing to Comply

The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man following a domestic dispute in Chatham.

On October 15, 2013, the man was released from custody with several conditions. Two of those conditions stated that the man was to abstain from communicating with two specific women or attend a specific address on Copperfield Crescent.

Yesterday morning, around 9:30 a.m., the man attended the residence and began yelling at one of the women. The man did not gain entry into the residence and left prior to police arrival. Shortly after 10:00 a.m. the man was located in the area of Charing Cross Road and Ninth Line and he was arrested.

The 43-year-old Raleigh Township man has been charged with two counts of failing to comply. He was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
