On November 30, 2013, at 7:51 p.m., the Guelph Police, Guelph Fire, GWEMS and University of Guelph Campus Police attended to a fire located in Dundas Hall, East Residence U of G. The fire was extinguished by GFD and a 20-year-old male, who was the resident, was taken to Guelph hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. Damage estimate is not available at this time. Police investigation is ongoing.
Two Guelph Police officers and two Campus Police were taken to hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation.
