The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man following an investigation involving domestic abuse.
Yesterday morning, police began a domestic investigation involving a young couple from Wallaceburg. It is alleged that during their relationship, the 17-year-old girl was assaulted, confined in the residence and threatened.
Just before 4:00 p.m. police located the man on Albert Street and he was arrested. The 18-year-old man has been charged with uttering threats, forcible confinement, assault, assault with a weapon x2 and mischief under $5000. He was transported to the court house pending a bail hearing.
