(Ottawa) On November 30, 2013, Ottawa Police Service patrol officers attended a residence in the 100 block on Landry Street in Vanier, in response to a male beating his dog.
Following an investigation by Central District Investigations in conjunction with the Ottawa Humane Society, the owner of the dog has been charged with Cruelty to animals under the Criminal Code.
Balaji RENGARAJAN, 35 years old of Ottawa will appear in court on January 9, 2014.
