On Saturday afternoon police were called to attend a Charlbrook Avenue residence in response to domestic situation. Upon arrival the officers interviewed a female who advised that she had been assaulted by her common-law partner. The officers observed minor injuries to her face. As a result a 65 year old male was arrested and charged with assault. The male was held for bail. Alcohol was factor in this occurrence.
