WALKERTON, ON) – On December 19th, 2010 at 6:40 pm, South Bruce OPP officers were conducting R.I.D.E. along Durham Street East in the town of Walkerton when they encountered drivers with expired validation on the vehicle licence plates. 26 year old Joel HARTMAN of West Grey and 30 year old Esther DIETRICH of Carrick Township have both been charged with Drive motor vehicle, no validation on plate. The South Bruce OPP recommends paying attention to the expiry date of your validation sticker. A driver stopped for expired validation is subject to a roadside fine of $110.
