(Goderich, ON) On December 17, 2010 at approximately 11:30 pm, Chisholm’s TV and Stereo was broken into after the lock cylinder was pried from the front door. The male then entered the store and destroyed the alarm system to quiet it. These actions were observed by a witness who called 911. As officers arrived on scene, the male suspect was observed walking away from the store. The suspect ran but was soon apprehended by Huron OPP officers. While being searched, the male was found in possession of items to confirm he has done the break and enter.
Wallace PIERCEY (35) of London is now facing one count of Break & Enter with Intent to Commit an Indictable Offence, one count of Break & Enter and Commit an Indictable Offence and one count of Possession of Break In Instruments. Damage is estimated to be $3,000. He remains in custody and his next court appearance is on December 20, 2010 in the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich.
