Shortly after 8:00 am a school bus collided with a sedan travelling in the opposite direction in the 400 block of 2nd Avenue West. The school bus had 2 students on board. Neither the students nor the bus driver were injured. The driver of the sedan was taken to hospital for minor injuries related to broken glass. The sedan sustained significant damage to the driver’s side requiring a tow. The school bus sustained minor damage and was able to be driven away.
While responding to the scene an EMS vehicle collided with an SUV vehicle travelling in the opposite direction in the 600 block of 2nd Avenue West. Neither driver was injured. The SUV sustained significant damage to the driver’s side requiring a tow. Although able to be driven, the EMS vehicle also sustained significant damage.
None of the involved drivers were charged due to extremely poor road conditions attributed to the heavy snow fall.
