The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a woman wanted on an outstanding warrant.
On October 12, 2013 around 10:30 a.m. the woman attended a residence on St. Anthony Street in Chatham. A verbal altercation ensued and the woman kicked the homeowner’s door causing about $200 damage. The woman was arrested and charged with mischief under $5000. She was released pending a future court date. On December 11, 2013 the woman failed to attend court and a warrant was issued for her arrest.
Yesterday morning around 8:30 a.m. the woman turned herself into police headquarters. The 22-year-old Chatham woman was arrested and released pending a future court date.
